Workshop I: DGMS Fachgruppe “MS Imaging” – IT Tools for Data Analysis in Mass Spec Imaging (MSI)
Organiser:
Prof. Dr. rer. nat. Carsten Hopf
Center for biomedical Mass Spectrometry and Optical Spectroscopy (CeMOS)
Hochschule Mannheim
Mannheim, Germany
Jun.-Prof. Dr. Sven Heiles
Lipidomics, Department of Bioanalytics

Date:
Tuesday March 4th from 13.00 to 16.30
Description:
The MS imaging workshop will introduce IT tools for biostatistics, data visualization, extraction of biomarker candidates as well as basic machine learning in the MSI field. Many of these tools have been coded in R or Python by members of our MSI community for this scientific community. We welcome early experimentalist MSI users hoping to get an overview of available IT options as much as experienced IT tool programmers seeking feedback on their IT solutions.
